Class A Crew Leader $28-35
Possesses working knowledge of all aspects of installing interstate signage-overhead and ground mounted, flat panel and extruded panels, the construction of both drilled foundation and sign foundation/mow mat. Work including but not limited to Setting of concrete and wood poles, installing and maintaining cameras and camera sites, and digital messaging signs, Cabinets, Lowering Devices, and all related hardware, underground electrical utility services, setting up traffic control, operating necessary equipment (including digger derricks, boom trucks, bucket trucks, excavators, compactors, hand tools both manual and electric, etc.). Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, or repair work. Supervise and coordinate the activities of a crew of workers. Provide training and guidance to crew members. Ensure safety protocols are followed. Conducts pre-job or tailgate briefings. Troubleshoots problems and supervises troubleshooting. Maintains company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order. Able to perform rigorous physical labor. Capable of working at heights and/or confined spaces. Must understand how to safely operate equipment. Capable of planning safe work based on a job print or work order. Understands flag and tag procedures. Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather. Does all other related work as required to complete the job. Ability to operate computer-based Business Management system. Class B Assistant Crew Leader $20-28
A skilled position in the construction, maintenance, and repair of Communication Systems, Utility, and Highway Signage. This position works at various locations and may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions. Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance, or repair work of site locations. Supervise and coordinate the activities of a crew of workers in absence of Class A. Provide training and guidance to crew members. Ensure safety protocols are followed and using PPE. Conduct pre-job or tailgate briefings.
